The Makita DCE090ZX1 Cordless Brushless 230mm Disc Cutter features a powerful 36V DC brushless motor drive system which is powered by two 18V LXT Li-Ion batteries (not included) and can reach an impressive no load speed of up to 6,600rpm. (Body Only)Its brushless motor, which provides increased efficiency, reliablity and a longer lifespan, as well as producing less noise, boasts an Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) which will shut down the tool if it senses a sudden decrease in rotation speed.

Other practical safety features include an overload indicator lamp, electric brake, soft start functionality, and a lock-off button for safe operation, as well as a battery cover which protects the battery from water during wet cutting.

In addition, the disc cutter can be connected to a water supply kit (sold separately), allowing you to continually cool the blade with water to avoid blade warping and segment loss only when using a diamond blade, as well as reducing dust inhalation levels creating an overall safer experience.

The DCE090ZX1 from Makita also incorporates a practical LED job light allowing the work area to be fully visible in dim or dark environments.

This 230mm cut off saw has a maximum cutting depth of 88mm and is supplied complete with an abrasive cut off wheel, hex wrench, wrench, and water coupling sleeve.
